What’s Your Vision For Your Life?

Don’t you just love visiting model homes.  Today, my sister and I took a Sunday drive to look at model homes.  I so much enjoy this type of thing, it always gives me ideas that I can add to my dream home idea book.

Do you have a dream?  Most people’s dreams are fading, but don’t let yours.  I want to inspire you to take action. Do you year for a new home or car?  If so, test drive your new car.  Visit an open house.  Imagine yourself enjoying what you really want.

If you haven’t created a vision board, take a moment to do so.

This vision board is simply a collection of things you would like to be, do or have.  Make it visible so you can see it each day.  This can be the focus you need when things get tough.

Be crystal clear about what you want, and then envision it.  Without a vision, it will be virtually impossible to achieve what it is you really want.

Finding Your Why

Posted by Michelle Greene | Posted in Life Balance | Posted on 01-17-2010

DSCN2263During the event that I attended over the weekend, I got a chance to hear Motivational Speaker and Author, John DiLemme.  John has such as incredible story.  He stuttered as a child and was told he would never enjoy a career as a professional speaker.  He now travels the world encouraging people to “Find Their Why”.

This phrase is the building block of achievement.  Without finding your why, you don’t have a deep enough reason to continue when the going get tough, and it will.

This can also be referred to as your passion.  What is it that makes you want to jump out of bed first thing in the morning?  What is the real reason you want to accomplish your dreams.  Your “Why” will be the fuel you need to make it happen.

I encourage you to start thinking about your ‘why’.  Once you find it, it will make your wants so much easier to realize because you now have a deep and meaningful reason WHY you’re doing what you do.

Creating Your Own Personal Transformation

Posted by Michelle Greene | Posted in Life Balance | Posted on 01-16-2010

Yesterday, I flew down to South Florida. My sister, who lives in the area, and I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Transform Your Life Summit today. It was held in Fort Lauderdale and was organized by the Women Helping Women Mastermind. The day was all about transforming your life on all levels. The speakers were dynamic, warm and generous with the information they shared.

There was even a ‘lucky’ volunteer who got the opportunity to have a breakthrough moment. She unknowingly volunteered to ‘eat fire’. Fortunately, she accomplished the task to the thunderous applause of the entire room. Attending events like these can do wonders to inspire you.

They also provide an opportunity to reflect on what you want to accomplish in the months to follow. Energy just seemed to flow through the entire room. It’s always a thrill for me to connect with people who are inspired to transform their lives. Sometimes a change of scenery can be just the jolt you need. So as you go through this year, remember to imagine your possibilities.
